The Samba Vallarta! |

The Samba in Nuevo Vallarta was a great resort and made for a fabulous vacation!
This all inclusive is perfect for both adults and kids. You can enjoy relaxation on the beach, lounge around the pool. Or you can partake of adventure and go explore the city of Puerto Vallarta, just south of Nuevo Vallarta, or join some of the many excursions available such as swimming with the Dolphins, Catamaran or Jungle tours, among others. |
All the staff at this fine resort were very friendly. About the only problem
you will experience here is to maintain sufficient appetite for all the excellent food!! There is a
large buffet area for all meals with a wide choice of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and supper. The kids
will relish the hamburgers, pizza and more available at the pool bar and snack shack. And for a finer
dining enjoyment, there are two "a la carte" dining rooms, one Mexican, and the other Italian.
Here's a secret: ask for the Spanish Coffee after your "a la carte" meal, it is both delicious and a
"flaming" visual treat!!

The quality of the manicured grounds is indicative of the immaculate conditions throughout the entire complex.
The rooms are generously sized, well appointed, and have amazing marble tile flooring. On a regular travel package my family of 5 were given a two room suite, equipped with balcony and two bathrooms, two televisions (not that you will need TV anyhow), refrigerator, microwave, and a secure safe for your valuables. |

can get a variety of adult beverages and cocktails. The kids can get all kinds of juice,
pop, and "kiddie" cocktails too.In the foreground you can see the pool's island. |
The pool at the Samba was amazingly large. It is in three sections, with stepping stone walkways
between each area. There is a decent shallow section for the toddlers, and a large adult area of
about 5 feet deep. One of the features of the pool is the island shown in this picture. Usually the
island has loungers and parasols, but in this photo the island was being cleared for the evening show.
Some of the other amenities of the Samba is an indoor gym, billiard tables, a small convenience store. You can also get boogie boards and kayaks for your beach fun! |
And speaking of the resorts amenities, every evening there is a dance and music show. These
shows are performed usually in the open air theatre between the pool area and the buffet dining room
(with another bar close by). Sometimes the show is performed on the pool's island.
In this photo, you can clearly see Banderas Bay. A huge feature of this resort is its location on the beach which stretches for miles! |
